Lingerie Review: Lindie from Agent Provocateur

A favourite set of many, Lindie is one of Agent Provocateur’s classic Icon designs. Available in snow white and recently released in a beautiful baby blue (which is the lingerie colour of the season), it is a breathtakingly beautiful set. This timeless design suits many occasions, from bridalwear to an extra special purchase for yourself “just because”. Lindie is also one of the few styles that features a garter for an additional romantic touch.
Agent Provocateur Lindie
Componentry:
This set features glistening bugle beads exclusive to Agent Provocateur, which are hand sewn for a luxurious finishing touch. Its hardware is a complementary silver. There is a dreamy floral motif embroidered on the Italian tulle base, and the straps are made out of a soft elasticized cotton. The design appears to angelically float on the skin.
Sizing:
I found that Lindie’s cup was shallow, so you may wish to consider sizing up. The cup design is a beautiful demi (lower than a balconette). The band runs a bit small, which is normal for Agent Provocateur’s styles. The brief runs standard for Agent Provocateur’s sizing, which is slightly on the smaller side. The thong is true to size. The suspender runs small.
Durability:
While I always suggest hand washing your lingerie, with this set’s luxurious hand-beaded elements, I would not wash it any other way. My experience with the snow-white set has been that the beads are well sewn, but definitely best not to risk it with this set.
Lindie is available from NIN Luxury Lingerie in the classic snow white and baby blue. Bra 179€, brief 159€, thong 109€, suspender 179€, and garter 49€.
